Time flies when you're having fun
Hi,
I really want to share an idiom with you (i learn it today): Time flies when you're having fun
it's something that we say, which means that time goes quickly when you are enjoying yourself
Usage notes: Often used humorously when you are talking about an activity which was not enjoyable.
'I can't believe we've spent four hours cleaning this carpet.' 'Well, time flies when you're having fun.'
... but time flew when you were bored.
