  • i don't go one google traduction
  • So, do you, or don't you, go on google traduction ??
I do, in some cases it can give you a good enough translation, if you choose the appropriate meaning.
And I discovered not long ago a new (?) feature, the little star icon, that saves the words in your lexicon ! If we don't learn, it is that we don't want to learn...

Do you know the website Dictionary.com? Very useful indeed!
  • as a native english speaker with a french wife, I am absolutely certain that direct literal translations very rarely work..... malheureusement!

Il faut faire attention avec les dictionnaires en ligne... avant tout, c'est le contexte qui est la chose plus importante.
  • https://www.deepl.com est un bon traducteur en ligne.
  • https://www.linguee.com is also quite helpful with examples with context.

Wendy, "I have evil in English" is an expression I've never heard. Are you French and wanted to say "J'ai du mal en anglais" - "I have trouble with English"?
