  • hello Cathy, it's true that the dialogues are difficult almost at the beginning. As for me , I understood NOTHING even the pronuntiation of the vocaburaly.I have learnt over the place of the accent in a word or in a phrase, this could be a suggestion, may be, overlining stress of the syllable of a word or key word in a phrase. What help for me is do discover the correction after having heard the dialogue one thousand time and to see that I had all in hand to understand almost all, except new vocabulary for which one must open his oars to distinghish the phonetic allowing to find the translation in the dictionary. It must well listening the verb often in a progressive form, well noticing the ing in a phrase, the contracted form as the negative, auxiliary, the l of the future, etc..I listen a lot of time the dialogues while reading them and I think it has came out progressively. And as the dialogues are often funny, I have passed good time so far. It's seems still sometimes unbeleavable to understand all or almost. Thanks to Gymglish! Try it again Cathy, it cannot not working ( with the well audio output of course). It is worth to work a little for so much pleasure. ( to notice though that there is may be less vocabulary pronounced,to see.
