Can you advise me about videos subtitled in english? I'm not a geek and I don't know where I can find this on the net.

Do you get Netflix or some other streaming service? You can set any movie or tv show do have English subtitles.

Do you know TED talks, at www.ted.com? There you can find lots of interesting talks and you can even watch them with subtitles if you prefer so.
