had call or had called

In the lesson : to kill a montain bear (scene 3/8) Warbuckle says to Susan Bliss:"Ahh, Miss Bliss. I was wondering when you'd call."

I am wondering why is it you'd call and not you'd called.

If anybody knows the answer, please give me an explanation
