English Vocabulary

C'mon

I am reading a book in English (to perform this course), and a word often comes at the beginning of sentences : "C'mon". For example :

"C'mon, Susan, at least agree this plays in our favor".

Does abybody have the meaning of this expression : "C'mon" ?

Thanks a lot in advance.

  • It's a contraction for 'Come on'.
If you see such contractions, I suggest you to read them aloud, the sound of it is generally the same as, or very close to, the expression contracted.
